describe the imageEvelyn Nichols, Director - San Diego Campus

Evelyn F. Nichols is Regional Director for San Diego.  Ms. Nichols brings a wealth of experience to this role including over 6 years of teaching and community outreach, in addition to her work in marketing, sales, public relations and community organizing.  Ms. Nichols has been an account executive with (W)right On Communcations, coordinator and unit chair for PROUAW and UAW 2865, PAL Program Administrator and Teaching Assistant with the UCSD Education Studies Department.  Ms. Nichols earned an M.Ed., with special emphasis in Mathematics education and English for Second Language Learners and a BA in Communications at the University of California San Diego.  Ms. Nichols also obtained her teaching credential from UCSD.
 
 
describe the imageWendy Jones, Director - Mission Viejo Campus

Wendy Jones is Director of Halstrom High School (Anaheim Hills) and the district WASC Coordinator.  Ms. Jones has more than 34 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator.  Following her experience as an elementary school teacher, Ms. Jones was Vice Principal of St. Albert the Great School in Compton and Principal of St. Peter’s Episcopal Day School in San Pedro, CA.  Her final administrative position prior to joining Halstrom High School was Principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Hawthorne, CA. She retired from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles after more than 27 years of experience.  Ms. Jones earned an MA in Administration and Supervision from the UCLA and a BS in Education from Wright State University.

describe the imageEduardo Ceja, Director - Vista Campus

Eduardo Ceja is Director of Halstrom High School (Vista).  Prior to this role, Mr. Ceja was an instructor in mathematics and science for the Vista Campus of Halstrom High School.  Previously, he  was an AVID tutor (Advancement Via Individual Determination) with the Oceanside Unified School District and an after-school counselor at the Mottino Family YMCA in Oceanside.  Mr. Ceja holds a BA in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
